Happy Holidays and Thanks!

Postby vintagebrett » December 16th, 2006, 9:37 pm

Hello Everyone

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays and say thanks for participating in the forum this year. When I started this place back in April I didn't know if it would catch on or if people would be interested in talking about gloves. I have been totally impressed by the growth throughout the year and have learned so much by reading your posts. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge, sharing your collection and adding to ongoing discussions.

One thing I'd like to see more of in 2007 is people sharing more pictures of gloves from their collections. I know it's kind of a pain to take pictures, edit them and upload but I always enjoy looking at the pictures you guys post. When I'm visiting my parents next week I plan to take a ton of pictures of some of my dad's gloves - he has picked up quite a few nice items in the last couple of months and if he gives me permission to post pictures, I will.

Thanks again everyone and enjoy the holiday season!

 Brett should get a big gift from Santa for beginning our growing and informative glove forum.
This has been a great place for me to get and give ideas and opinions and learn from you guys.
Let's keep posting questions too. this is how we learn because someone hear may have a glove or facts about gloves that the questioner doesn't know. We have some great specialists from D&M collectors to catchers mitts guys.
Way to Go Brett!
Joe
