Rawlings White Label 60's Gloves

Postby cubanball » October 16th, 2008, 8:13 pm

Hello Glove Collectors:

Just want some information on the Rawlings White label gloves Made in Japan in the 1960's. I have a very rare CAMILO PASCUAL Rawlings White label and would like to know how many other player models were made and WHO they were. I also know that there was a DON DEMETER model that once in awhile appears.
Also, why were so little made,in short, all info pertaining to these gloves.
The White label is,of course, for the INVERTED Rawlings logo, that is a white background with Red lettering instead of the Red background with White lettering.

I don't have any of the "white label" gloves in my collection (I think- there are so many darned gloves packed away that I find stuff I forget I had).

I think that I recall seeing a Chuck Shilling endorsed model with the white label. Can't think of any others, though.

Just by pure chance (I was searching eBay for something else) I came across this:

Chuck Shilling Glove

No photo of the patch, but note the description of the "off-white" Rawlings patch.
