Newsletters should be mailed out late next week, hopefully in time for Christmas reading. Pretty fair issue. Lead story on glove buddy Kevin Johnson of Sports Artifacts, who gives his likes and dislikes. Also a review on Dave Cunningham's spicy and photegenic new glove book. A recap of the Joe Jackson D&M with a quote or two from the seller. Also a look at where the glove team collectors have gone to and how handy the Dubow gloves are for filling out certain team needs. Ron Carlson, local glove guy, has an ad on some interesting and different glove related mataerial.
My week was completed with helping to authenticate a Babe Ruth baseball that is being offered at $985,000 on ebay right now. You read it right! And, I got my 64 oz homemade 1930s bat back from the musuem Wednesday. Busy week!
