Using the vintage leather

Heading up to Cooperstown later for a weekend tournament. Playing on Doubleday Field is always a thrill. I'm bringing 9 old skins along hoping my teammates will break them out for an inning or two. Couple Marty Marion MM1's in there, A JC Higgins Feller, an old Brine mitt, a Nokona J111, a sweet Spalding I got from RBD + a Wilson Ball Hawk Six for the guy who'll be too scared to use a split  Should be fun! -Mark

Not that anyone cares...but we won the tourney. Cooperstown is a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. It was a privlege to be there.

- A baseball glove is a beginning and an ending: a boy's first sure step towards manhood; a man's final, lingering hold on youth; it is promise...and memory.
