Just finished lunch with old softball friend of mine who brought along his glove given to him and used by Ray Oyler the old light hitting but slick fielding Detroit Tiger of the late 1960s. It's a well broken in and perfectly formed infielders glove. It's a MacGregor GC27 Ray Maloney personal model. I've owned a store GC27 Maloney personal and it was nothing like this. Leather on that glove was stiff and looked different in the pocket, way overlaced.
It's always fun to see what the pros wore. Sometimes surprises you.
