Rawlings Golden Patch

Postby softball66 » October 22nd, 2006, 10:34 am

Just got an email from ebayer wanting to know date of the Rawlings gold patch use. I told him I thought it was from 1958 which would have been Rawlings 60th Anniversary. I've never confirmed this though. Rawlings' inception was 1898.
Wilson also used a replacement gold patch one year. It's anniversary year was 1912 I believe.

I have a couple modern HOHs with the gold trim patch. I assume they're anniversary gloves from 1988 + 98? Good to look at :)

Rawlings made in the USA in 2000

Postby Grunning » October 23rd, 2006, 10:11 pm

I though I saw a Rawlings glove in about 2000 Made in the USA. Was that a special glove and do they still make any models in the USA?
