Nokona Glove rescued during WWII

Postby softball66 » April 28th, 2006, 9:42 am

I'm currently working on a newsletter story, news release, Nocona web site story, SCD story regarding a Nokona baseball gloves that was recovered by our G.I.s in Italy during World War II when they over ran a German position. Curious how the Germans got the glove in the first place, perhaps a souvenir off a captured American soldier.
Robby Storey, the Nocona president, reports that our soldiers in Iraq are using some Nokonas.
