Interesting factory tag on Spalding Dimaggio glove

I recently acquired a Spalding Joe Dimaggio Diamond Anniversary (75th) baseball glove Model # 133.The glove has a factory tag sewn into the seam under the wrist strap with a number 5 printed on the tag.Does anyone know the significance of the tag?
