Go to e-bay and look at my auction #190037665002. I don't want to be stupid and sell a $5,000 or more glove for $1200. Any help on value is greatly appreciated.

Hi

You have a very nice fielders glove from the late 1800's. The glove appears to be in excellent shape. I wouldn't worry too much about the price - I'm sure it will heat up as the bidding comes to a close. I'm guessing it will end around $3000 - what does everyone else think?

Nice mid 1890s I'd say

Great crescent glove. No web. Earliest of this type. I don't recall any catalog I have showing crescent before 1893 - '94. This will likely fall in that category and a great buy for the eBay winner. Could pass $3,000 for its condition.

Webless glove

Hi guys,

That webless glove does look like a great one. I too would think it would be in line with what Brett and softball has mentioned. It is always interesting what will happen in the last 3 minutes of the auction. Very cool glove.

Well, I was pretty close with my guess. I think the buyer did pretty well. I hope one day I can afford a glove like that.
