On eBay right now, Wilson A2000 (Santo endorsed?)

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused.

Right now on eBay, there is a Wilson A2000 up for bid which has what looks to be a Ron Santo endorsement on the leather. I'm not trying to draw attention to the auction or blow anyone's chance at winning a glove for cheap. My sincerest apologies if I have done so.

I thought that the A2000 never had player endorsements on them. Am I wrong? I see a Ron Santo facsimile signature on the palm and "The A2000" on the web. I know that Ron Santo advertised Wilson gloves, but I did not know that the gloves ever carried his name.

For a look: item # 200200199079

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John

Possibilities

I don't remember too many A2000s with players names. In fact Wilson would brag that they didn't put names on their 2000s. I also don't know if Wilson put names on gamer (pro stock) A2000s. Someone may know this. I did notice that this seller is located in San Antonio where Santo once played minor league ball, I believe in 1959.
We can let the conjecture take us where it may.

The model # in the palm looks to be a different number - maybe it's a web from an A2000 that was used on this glove as a replacement?
