Of Interest to Collectors: The Hoboken Glove Collection

Maybe you have seen this, maybe not.

The Akadema glove company is now producing a line-up of replica gloves from the past. Someone at that company seems to know their glove history! Some of the models featured are exact replicas of some of the most sought after gloves in the hobby.

Here is a link to their website:

http://www.akademapro.com/hobokengloves.html

While you're there, click on the "Pro Shop" link, select "Glove Maintenance" then scroll down to the bottom of that page. Akadema offers a DVD video entitled "The Rise and Fall of The Ken-Wel Sporting Goods Company".

Cool stuff from a modern maker of quality playing gloves!

Is this video still available somewhere? I can’t find any information on the web.

Thanks Bret. That Ken Wel video or CD is super old. I've had it for many years. Wish I could share it with everyone without violating all the copyright laws.
