Brett, you have already scanned a few fascinating catalogues. Three to my knowledge. And once again, thanks for sharing them :D ! But why don't you set up a new section of the forum dedicated to exchanges of vintage catalogues or other rare documents, things that all glovers could print at leisure and either frame and hang them on a wall or just leave on the night stand for a midnight perusal ?

War Eagle sent me a colour copy of the Rawlings definition "What is a baseball glove?". And I'm really glad he did. That sort of documents should have a place of their own in this already wonderful forum.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've thought about doing this but I'm trying to keep the number of categories to a minimum so it's easier for people to navigate. What I might do is create a sticky thread (one that stays on top) and put this in the General Glove Discussion. This way, it will be easier to find these catalogs.

I think you really should do that. I have this great book on the history of baseball and it's full of wonderful photos, Ty Cobb, Joe Jackson, Satchel Paige, Babe Ruth, plenty of rare pictures! I have already scanned some and printed them. They really look like the original photos (you'll need a good printer to do that. Mine is quite good.). I intend to frame them and hang them up on my wall right above my desk.

I could post them here, only I don't know how to do that.
