Finally got a chance to take a picture of my pick-ups - this is the only one currently in house. It is a Victor Wright Ditson Canadian made sewn web. This color matches up with my three finger Lutzke style (which has a different tag). Too pretty of a glove to pass up.
Here is my other glove pickup from the show - the wrist strap was broken and needed a small repair. Pretty neat glove - we've named him Franken Finger.
Here was my fun pickup. Will someone please teach me how to take a decent picture. I would date it to the 1910's. I have seen this one for years in the early Reach catalogs and have always wanted it.
Here is my other purchase from the show - Dr. Peebles doesn't just fix gloves, he's got a degree in Boxology as well! This thing was trashed when I got it but now it's sturdy and looks fabulous. My only problem is I have four different model 758 gloves - which one do I put with the box?
The segment that ESPN filmed is set to run tonight on E:60 on ESPN at 7 pm ET. Not sure if we made the cut but if we did, all I can say, is I'm not really that dorky all the time.
It's good that he edited the interview - they showed the only intelligible part of when I was talking to him. I wanted to give him a glove but I never could come up a with a nice Simmons Hardware model.
