In a previous post I speculated that two early 1950's Reach and Spalding gloves were made by Rawlings. Turns out that is not the case. Spalding at the time was sourcing their gloves from several manufacturers, Rawlings, Wilson, Stall & Dean and Kennedy. The two Spalding/Reach gloves were made by Kennedy Sporting Goods. I base that on the distinctive X-laced web.
