A Rawlings Big 8 glove by any other name. Love the Wilson Shooting Star logo.

A nice mash up of a MacGregor FieldMaster glove with the Rawlings HOH logo.

Townley Metal and Hardware Co. was out of Kansas City and had a huge catalog and mail order business.
The TMC brand of gloves were all import models that were altered to look similar to a USA version.
The Wilson Shooting Star logo above is changed to a circle so I guess it's the shooting Comet model.

The Rawlings HOH logo above is changed from "Hide" to "Kids".

Bob Feller in a 1957 transistor radio ad. I just found an old post that explains the CL stamping. It was pro stock made in Chicago.

Bob Feller again from 1939. The gloves at the bottom of the ad also appear in the Great Western catalogs with GW stampings.
The Higgins Expert flex form glove has a Rip Radcliff endorsement in the GW catalogs.

From the 1951 Wilson spring and summer catalog, ""the most talked about uniforms in baseball camps throughout the nation". Does not appear in the 1952 catalog, can't imagine why.

From the 1918 Goldsmith catalog, the GB-300. Made of strong, soft black dog skin. Am I reading this right? Does anybody have any info as to whether or not gloves were made of dog skin or was this just a name given to describe a type of tanning procedure?

A great looking Nokona magazine ad.

You gotta admit, Denkert did make some gorgeous gloves & mitts. The mint ones still hanging around are extremely supple and nicely made. They had 'em at all the different levels and price points. Wish a catalog would turn up but we as a hobby haven't seen one. Really nice to see a glove ad though. Thanks Mike.
