Vintage Gloves in Catalog

Postby s_esco » May 17th, 2008, 4:37 pm

Hello all. I am fairly new to this forum, but a long time vintage glove collector. I find something new and informative each time I visit. Again, thank you. I have many questions, so will start with this one. In the Vintage Catalog Source Book they list Goldsmith gloves in the 1930's with a G18 number, for example. I own, and have seen Goldsmith gloves in this same era with AG and JG and then a number. Is there a reason they are not listed, and is there any difference? SE

Missing Catalog Years

Notice in your glove catalog source book, some catalog years are not there.
So your gloves may have been listed in one of the years no catalog for Goldsmith was listed.
