Its 'Graig Nettles'. I once read in a biography that he wrote something like " he knew that some folks he met at shows, etc. were not familar with his playing career because they erroneously called him "Craig". I think he lives down here in TN near Knoxville, but I have never seen him at any of our baseball hangouts.

don't know a lot about this subject ( I know you all find that hard to believe) but if he was wearing the fast back holdster glove and it was before 82 03 it was a rawlings as I believe the patent was good until then on both features. I slightly remember the laws suits being fought in the very early 80"s

Right you are GloveMedic!...Graig Nettles...i think many people mistake the 'G' for a 'C' as there are eBay listings that say 'Craig Nettles, but the baseball card itself says Graig...i suppose this is 'much ado about nothing", as i believe Shakespeare once said.
