SM6 V anchor?

Postby H-webman » April 16th, 2008, 5:34 pm

I have a question regarding the history of the V anchoring of the webbing on the Rawlings I web/ H web on the 1970's Gloves. I have two sm6's with the v anchors but recently all the sm6's on e-bay have not had this feature. Could anyone tell me in what years the used it and when did they stop & why?[img][/img]

V Anchor

I don't think the V anchor is nearly as strong as the modern way of lacing webs. Does make for a clean looking palm though.
