Anywhoo, during the last 8 months I've decided to unpack some of my older gloves that haven't seen the light of day in 15 years, and I actually won an auction yesterday for a Mizuno MVT 1100 Vintage "THE CLOSE" model glove, to ease the pain of my other MVT 1100 being chewed up by our 8 month old lab
... I've had that glove since 1978, and it was in perfect condition. However it's back at Mizuno to see if it can be saved to some extent (I hope).
Also during my recent excitement, I purchased a new infielders glove (Akadema AXX105).. Interesting glove..... And I called my brother to see if he had my Wilson A2000 my dad purchased for me in 1974. I received the good news from him last week, that he has it and he's shipping it back to me this Monday!!!! And I'm currently cleaning up my Wilson A2264 "Mark Fidrych" glove...... It's a humble collection, but I'm looking to expand on it........ Again thanks for allowing me to share some of my recent excitement!!!
