2025 National Sports Collectors Convention Chicago

Hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to give a heads up that I'll be setting up in Chicago this summer at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago from July 30th to August 3rd. This is most likely (pretty definitely) the last time that I plan on setting up at this show for a number of reasons. I look forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces and also some new ones. My oldest son is getting closer to college and so it's time to sell off a good portion of the collection to pay for that. I will have some nice gloves available at the show only for purchase that haven't been for sale in a number of years (if ever). Hope a bunch of you can make it. Just a reminder that this show is getting closer - hope to see some of you there. I'll be in booth 213. My friend Doug from Wisconsin will be with me as well - he is bringing a pile of gloves so there should be a good assortment. I have about 50 total gloves I'm bringing - they range from 1900 to 1990 and are all interesting models either from a quality stand point, rarity, condition or brand.

Thanks to the (few) glove collectors that stopped by the booth during the show. Always great to see fellow glove collectors. I enjoyed the many years I set up at the show and all the great people I got to spend time with over the years. I hope some other glove dealers/equipment sellers pick up a booth a some point - there are only about 4 booths with such items left to search through.

Thanks for being there, Brett. It was really fun looking through all your stuff (and coming home with a couple of gloves.) I spent about 75 minutes (really) at the convention - long enough to hit your booth and about 5 others. The rest? Yawn. Let's have a VBGCC some day!
