Stumped on 2 recent finds - Bedo and Columbia Sportswear

Wondering if y'all can help me. Recently came across a couple gloves and there's pretty much no information on the internets about the companies that made them.

One is a Beda catcher's mitt...made in Japan. I found a very similar glove listed on ebay, but not seeing any info online about the company, the years in operation, etc.

The other is a fielders glove, likely a youth model, made by Columbia Sportswear in Portland, OR. I haven't found any info about Columbia making gloves, or even another example of one out there. Does anyone know anything about Columbia and baseball gloves?
