Wayne Terwillinger in the mid 1950's with his Nokona, another quality brand that seemingly didn't get much love from players back then. Looks pretty similar to the Bill Hunter model from JD's gallery.

As a 16 year old, I began a ground up restoration of a 1930 Ford pickup. I eventually worked as a mechanic for a few years before the glamour of that job wore off.

Mike…love the pics of the 1930 Ford you did…still have it?? I’m doing a 1931 right now in memory of my dad. We found the cab together laying in a barn while walking through the woods when I was about 13 or 14 years old. My father got offered it and long story short, we never got it done…but he had gathered a lot of the parts so I’m now completing it. Wish we had years ago…it’s kinda bitter sweet if you know what I mean. Still long way to go, but can’t wait till it’s done!!

Here's the truck in 2019 upgraded with whitewalls and a little worse for the wear. I didn't have room to store it any more. My brother's have it now. Good luck on your project. They're a blast to work on.

That's very cool Mike. Here's Lawrence Boerner with a 1932 model glove during his only year in the big leagues. As far as I know, Spalding's Earle Combs model introduced the Rainey trap web that year. EJ Rainey filed a patent for it the following year.
