A pretty cool TOC photo. Love the Uniforms.

Herb Pennock making do with a torn off thumb tunnel in 1928. His signature was on one of D&M's top line bucklebacks.

A circa 1910 baseball team. The Spalding Decker mitt looks brand new.

Cool photo Mike.
Tom Early in 1939 with a Rawlings glove. Rawlings made two versions of that style, their top of the line Pepper Martin DeLuxe and a Bosey Berger model for 50 cents less.

Jim Davenport in the mid 60's. I think he's sporting a MacGregor KC5 model glove. This KC5 glove was the introduction of kangaroo leather models. The leather was a good deal darker than the cowhide models and the KC5 cost $50 back in 1966. That was $7 more than the Rawlings HOH or Wilson A2000 gloves.

Billy Loes with the Playmaker and Jack Conway with the outlaw web.
Hey that's the same expression I have when I come across a really cool glove photo.

Hank Aaron and Bill Bruton in 1959 I believe. That was the year that Rawlings went with their new logo. I was stumped by the web on Bill's glove, but it looks like the one used on Mickey Mantle's MMP for a couple of years. Hank's glove is from 1958 before MacGregor ditched the button in favor of the Adjusta Wrist. I'm guessing it's a Gus Bell PM GC10. Unfortunately Hank never had a PM with the Spider-Web. Thanks again to JD's site for the info.

Hank Aaron was a reliable MacGregor user, but even he had to try a Rawlings Trapeze when it first came out.

The Trapeze/Trapockets were popular with the 1963 Red Sox as well.

Dodgers Tommy Davis and Jim Gilliam with Rawlings Trapeze models from the early 60s. Maury Wills with his Spalding Colavito model. Ron Fairly wearing an unknown Spalding basemans mitt ( looking at the style of wrist strap it appears to be from the 50s). Anyone have an idea as to what John Roseboro has on?

Brothers in arms Elston Howard, Yogi Berra and John Blanchard. Elston is sporting a Rawlings NWC, quite possibly an Elston Howard version.

I think the John Roseboro mitt may be a Rawlings HOH model RL circa 1963. The black color kind of threw me but the features of the mitt sure look like a Rawlings; the wrist strap, web lacing, cross laces above wrist opening, cross lace above middle finger stall.

Mike, I found a couple of more pictures of Roseboro with a black mitt from around the same time period. Whether or not it's the same mitt as the previous I posted it's hard to say. The one photo clearly shows he's wearing a no break model. Could it be a new for1963 Rawlings HNB Earl Battey model?

Yes Derek, I think you got it! Good digging for better pics of the mitt.
