Roger Maris in his 1957 rookie season with Cleveland. The label on his glove has been removed but the triple lock lacing of the web gives it away.

Below is the newly designed Wilson A2000 glove with the triple lock web with an example of the Maris glove on the right.

Walter Johnson with battery mate Gabby Street. There are other photos posted here of Johnson using a glove with the King Patent removable lining. This photo shows a view and a closeup of the back of the glove. It looks like he just laced the heel and a few grommets on the back and called it good.

Bobby Shantz in 1961. He was an endorser with the Regent Brand of gloves. The Regent model glove he's sporting has his uniform number on it and has many characteristics of a top of the line MacGregor GF10 Field Master model.

Nap Lajoie in 1911.

A page from a 1911-12 Reach catalog. More than likely Lajoie used the model W.

Martin Dihigo, late 1930's I think. Guessing it's a Goldsmith?

Bump Hadley with a D&M G92 Chuck Klein with extra eyelets to adjust the web laces. He endorsed a Globe model with their version of the laced wrist strap.

Nice job finding a player using that unique Goldsmith Joe Cronin model.

Thomson, Moore, Derringer, and Walters pitched for the Reds from 1939 to 1942. Wish I had a better picture of Whitey Moore's glove. It looks like the middle fingers are joined? Idk.

Yeah Greg the glove did look like a joined finger glove in that photo. I thought maybe it was a Sonnett Double Play model. Probably the wrong time period though. Here's a better photo of Whitey Moore and the glove. It looks to be a Spalding model from 1939 with a laced web and the tunnel webs removed. The forefinger and thumb have lacing reinforcements.
Image
Whitey Moore glove is similar to this top of the line Spalding DiMaggio model 222-01.
