California Hardware Co. was founded in 1892 in Los Angeles and was the first and largest wholesale hardware outlet on the west coast. They carried the Wilson Sporting Goods and Ohio-Kentucky Brand. Below is a partial page from the 1941 catalog. For some reason the hardware store called the OK brand their "California" line of equipment, including all the other OK sports equipment in addition to baseball.
