Basemitt or Fielders Mitt......?

I know that this is a question that pops up from time to time sorry for bringing it up again but what is this glove. It resembles other fielders mitts that I have had in the past, with one exception the external finger stalls. Unfortunate there is no tagging on the glove but it is all leather and a high end model at the time. Any help would be appreciated.

The best way would be to go to http://www.baseballglovecollector.com and look through the glove gallery and glove library for actual photos of fielders mitts or catalog illustrations from the various glove manufacturers. I'm sure you would find dozens of examples and maybe one that resembles your mitt. Reach and Spalding alone had quite a few models.
