So my wife and I are on our way to go grocery shopping. We stopped at a garage sale bought a few things. When we left I had to go around the block and I saw what I thought was another sale but is was a guy cleaning out his garage. I asked if any thing was for sale and he told us we could look around. What I found in a small box I opened was another box that had a 1940's Gil Hodges BLS Scooper 202 Baseball glove. This thing has never been worn and still in its box. The box is a little beat up but the glove is in great shape. I asked him if he would sell it and he told me he won the glove as a prize when he was in Boy Scouts and that he never played ball so he just tossed in the box. He shot a price at me and i almost wet my pants. I didn't even try to talk him down my hand was in my pocket so fast and I handed him the money. Here are some pics. I am not sure on what it is worth but it is super cool. Looking to see what you all think. If someone here can give me a value. I am thinking about putting it on eBay but I'm not sure what to sell it for. Thank You.......
That is what I was looking for. The last one I saw was used for $116.00 and had no box. That is why I put a best offer on it. Were would I go to find any info on this glove? I can find info on just about every other glove but nothing on this one.
