Nokona Bill Hunter G33 With "finger lok"

I saw this glove on ebay and couldn't quite puzzle out the grommets on the back.

Joe Phillips came to the rescue and explained the grommets held lacing to cinch down fingers. Joe further explained that this patent design just beat out a competing one from Rawlings. I, in my denseness thought the lacing somehow was inside the finger stalls. I ultimately found the patent issued in 1957 by Walter Tompkins for Nokona and all was illuminated.

note the external finger loops through the two rows of grommets.
I found and ad for this glove in a 1956 Nokona catalog when this particular feature was still patent pending

The Roy Face model below was introduced in 1957 by Nokona and shows the same "finger-lok"

Rob Mucha won the Bill Hunter glove below and I think he got the earliest version of the "finger-lok". He could easily have someone, Like Number9 for example , make up a replacement strap and he would be set. It's Nice the glove already has the "Ristankor" feature.
