Mystery solved?

A few months ago I was thumbing through some old photos and old back issues of TGC at JD's house when I came across an interesting looking catcher type mitt. People weren't sure what it was or if it was even baseball. Well, thanks to Ebay I think we can close the book on this one. Or can we? :wink:
