Noob saying hi

Postby escort1991 » January 6th, 2010, 1:11 pm

My name is Mark, I am a noob to the vintage glove world. I play slowpitch softball and am trying to learn more about gloves and how to recondition them.

Here is what I have currently have/wear:

"Modern": Vinci PJV55(black w/ white relace), PJV16(red with stock black lace), TJ1952-L prototype(blue with stock black lace).
Image

"Vintage": Wilson 1680 Designed by Ted Williams(left) and Wilson A2164 Jim "Catfish" Hunter(right). I am going to try and recondition and maybe relace them.

Any words of encouragement, what to dos or what not to dos, where to get things, etc., I am open to. Thank you for letting me be a part of this board. I look forward to learning.

Welcome aboard. Make sure to check out the Glove Conditioning section - there are lots of helpful tidbits for both relacing and conditioning your gloves.
