For $12,000 I hope the seller waives the $10 shipping. But I think that paying that much for any baseball glove is insane.

only $6,010.00 each, I thought some said it would break the $8,000 record. Shows how much we know

Time will tell when such "insanity" will prove to have shown such brilliance and excellent foresight. I think we were saying the same thing when a fuzzysloth hit the scene a while back. That guy did all right I believe!

All in all, how cool is it that there are people out there that have items in their collection that even the Hall of Fame wished they had!

I should have made a bet with my dad that it would crack 5 figures - I would have won.

It's fun to see stuff like this pop up once in a while - would love to know how many watchers they had on the set.

I think it had 138 watchers at one time.
Too expensive?
Different strokes for different folks.
Some choke up on the bat.
Others swing from the heels!

I don't think it was too much. In the late 1990s I passed on a $1200 Lou Gehrig Zipperback and a $400 webless workmans. The Dow at that time was not much different than now. Great and rare collectibles, whatever the category, are worth it (as long as you have money!)
