Sorry Brett, I'm trying this on the big board. I thought it would be interesting to see what others collected or put a name to a face. If you're camera shy just posting is fine. Thought it would be fun to reintroduce myself because many changes have happened in my life both collecting wise and outside of gloves. Here ya go, a name to a face. Feel free to add to it if you want to show yourself or what you collect. JD, I'll add to your collector's corner too.


Name: Ricky Anderson (Not Bulldog as you might think) and I'm a gloveaholic.
Location: Highland, CA Socal collector

Married. Wife (Sandra), Daughter (Alexandra) 7months

Collecting interest: Sewn webs and crescent fielder's gloves. Baseball trophies.

Want list: Need the Spalding batter and fielder trophy. I have the other 3 of the set (catcher, pitcher, basemen). Nice looking one inch webs or full webs. Pre 30 bulldog gloves/mitts.

First glove: Black Denkert Moose Skowron Trapper

Favorite glove (s): White Reach one inch web and white JC higgins buckleback full web.

Boyhood Hero: John Elway and Rickey Henderson

Other activities: Play chess/ Sudoku, go to swap meets, love fishing (freshwater), spending time with my family.

Regardless of how I look in this picture with my daughter, Sarah, I swear that I was not under the influence! Just wiped out from being a new dad at age 38. I have that same dazed expression most of the time anyway.

Location: Neenah, Wisconsin

Family: My daughter, Sarah, (16 now!) and our Yellow Lab, Charlie. My wife, Jill, passed away 5 years ago.

Collecting Interests: Really getting interested in 1920s-30s gloves these days.

Want List: Love to have a G.C. Alexander (without having to take out a 2nd mortgage) or a Ken-Wel Bucky Harris with the cool Vance-type seam pattern.

First Glove: Davega Pete Reiser

Favorite Glove: Ken-Wel Dazzy Vance.

Boyhood Heroes: The Milwaukee Braves, Jack Kirby, Dr. Cadavarino (Milwaukee "Nightmare Theatre" host way back when)

Hobbies: Fishing, reading, watching baseball (between naps), keeping my
