One of my pet peeves(the list is long) and this just happened to me on a glove I was the high bidder on. It seems as the auction is nearing it's end when I'm out bid by someone who has a feedback number of like 2 or 3 etc.I always check to see what if any history they have with the seller and it's most always 100% activity. I think we all know what's going on here schill bidding. And to boot it's some of the larger dealers sometimes. Maybe to an unassuming ebayer it gets unoticed but the next time you are out bid check to see what the bidder has for a rating. If it's a low number chances are it's a schill bid to jack up the price.I look at it this way, if it's a true glove person they would have been buying right along and would have alot more feedbacks than 4!! For me it just turns me off even if I was willing to bid more anyways. Guess there is no proof unless you want to do something about it and report it to ebay.
