Rawlings KM series

Postby breakin » July 17th, 2009, 10:09 pm

Hi everyone! I'm new here! Only my second post! First topic! This place is loaded with glovers! AWESOME! I just got back into this after 20 years with the same glove!

I did a search to see if I could dig any info up on this Rawlings KM series but couldn't seem to find much. Does anyone know what this series is all about? I managed to snag a KM6,10 and I think a 12 or an 8. I may be mistaken but the piping seems pretty cheap but I love the feel of the leather. I think the Dave Concepcion KM6 looks a lot like the XPG6? Are there any direct relations that anyone knows about? Does the K stand for Kangaroo like the K on the Macs? They feel a bit different than regular leather gloves. Thanks!!!!

Oops sorry, I think this topic might crossover between 60's& 70's gloves. My bad.

I'm sure these Rawlings KM gloves were made for and sold at KMart stores.
