Help with glove mfg. mystery

Ok, I got this glove off of Ebay 2 weeks ago or so. It's a nice 1" web button back probably 1920's. It has the mfg. "logo" stamped on the heel in black ink that has faded somewhat. It looks to me like a crest or coat of arms design(ruled out Norman already). Floated it to an expert glover and he is stumped so far as well. No name on the button just some generic oak leaf cluster type pattern. If you want to take a shot at it please email me and I'll send you the images. I can see what looks like "Weisinson" (?) Sporting Goods Co. inside this crest type symbol. 99% sure on the " Sporting Goods" part because it's fairly clear the rest however like I said has faded. On the botton of the design it clearly reads"Special". I appreciate your time.

First I want to say that I am far from a glove expert and there are many more knowledgeable glovers on this forum than myself. I've only been at this for a month, but I love a good mystery. I enhanced the photo using contrast and color balance and what I can see is
______Johnson. I did a little digging and came up with the Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. out of Boston, Mass. Primarily a firearms company, it looks like they also produced baseball gloves and uniforms. I've posted links below to dugouttreasures, picturing a Iver Johnson glove, and a link to a photo of one of their uniform catalogs. This is my best guess. I hope others will weigh in on this.

This is the only image he sent me. I darkened it, enlarged it a bit and it looks like something Johnson. As I said, Iver Johnson is just a guess.

Scott I think you may have solved it. It does look like it could say Iver Johnson, Boston Mass. It's that early 1900's type of font that is so hard to read if it's not clear. Now that I have a name I can dig a little more. Thank you so much !!

I'd say it would be Iver Johnson. I once owned a 28 gauge Iver Johnson shotgun.
Now, I pulled up some old Iver Johnson catalogs and the brand or logo it shows is the top part of an owl's face. Check me out on this. But this horseshoe look might have that or it was just something the company used on its non arms products.

I'm happy to help. I was half expecting for someone to tell me I was totally wrong. I'm actually trying to solve a mystery glove of my own.
All I can make out is a circle logo with what I believe to be New Brunswick NJ stamped around the bottom of the circle. Below that what looks like FG7. Were any glove companies or sporting goods companies based in New Brunswick, NJ? I'll try and get a picture up.

The cat. source book glove mfg. list on page 3 shows:
Drier Company, Brunswick New Jersey for 1970s but may have been around earlier. See if you can find anything on a search engine maybe.

I plucked an image of John Graham's Iver Johnson brand "Buck" Newsome glove and if you email me I'll send a picture of the front to examine the branding there to compare.

Joe, My glove is from The Dreier Comapny. After I posted last night, I applied a light coating of conditioner and I was barely able to make out the words "Draier" Company Inc. Your post, plus some additional digging led me to The Dreier Company, which was founded in the 1880's. Also raised the words Hand Formed Greased Pocket. However the endorsement remains a mystery. The last name is clearly Clark. But the first name is well worn since it is smack in the middle of the pocket. The Pocket Guide lists 3 Clarks, Earl, Grey, and Watty. Could be any of them. The glove is a split finger, single tunnel web, buckle back. It's kind of rough, but still an interesting glove. Thanks for the information.
