Spalding Roger Maris Personal Model Duo Control palm Help

Postby mcpstar7 » June 15th, 2009, 10:53 pm

I am pretty new in the area. I got the Roger Maris Personal Model Duo Control palm glove in a local garage for my son but I did not realize it is for a left handed player.

I put it on ebay expecting to return my money but I found out it is vintage professional model copy of Rawlings XPGP.

Could you advice me on value of the glove as I put it for $49 and I am afraid it would sell below it's value. You can check the auction at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0311624459

I also got advice that left handed glove would cost much less then right handed.
I am collecting guitars and normally left handed guitars have about same value as right handed(except of Paul Mcartney guitars, they are more expensive espesially from the Beatles era )

With the bidding at $102, it looks like you are doing OK. I'm pretty new here myself, but gloves for left hand throwers normally do bring less. But with a star player, who knows? Good luck.

I think you're doing fine with your investment - glove looks to be in decent shape. The fact that is LH may keep the price down a little more than if it was RH.
