Whos Bidding

Postby softball66 » May 21st, 2009, 7:15 am

Can't believe this 1930s J. C. Higgins glove has been bid up over $300.
Sumbudy's gonna over pay by a decimal point or two.
I love those key words used in this description that are used often to distinguish vintage items. They are: "attic", "old box."
I once bought a bat and the guy told me that it was found in an attic with some old Civil War gear. How could I pass on that?

Could be the web? Kind of cool "T" web like the old Marathon Carl Hubell. Don't think it is $300.00 cool but it is different. Who knows, buckleback + splitfinger + v-back + t-web = $300

Funny, I asked myself the same question yesterday. Because of the bid amount I spent some time looking closer and I'm just not seeing it. I guess that's the benefit of auctioning something.
