Well shoot, if the prices were reasonable then some of them would sell and then one would have to go find more. And where would you find more of that?

How about the Virgil Trucks game used glove for $1800.00. Joe do you know the collection he refers to in the glove info?

Andy Michael collection

Postby softball66 » March 11th, 2009, 1:33 pm

Years ago, and on a regular basis, I used to get calls from Andy Michael, a huge N Y Yankee fan and "friend" of Joe Dimaggio's. Andy sent me a photo once of he and the clipper smiling together.
Andy had amassed quite a massive collection or assembly including vintage gloves which we would talk about every now and then.
This game used site is advertising some signed Joe Dimaggio pieces and maybe more from the "Andy Michael" collection. I have emailed the site to ask if Andy had passed away.
One unique item I do recall Andy having said he owned was a "Ted Williams Canoe."
